Job Description:

Aspiring Child Psychologist role supporting pupils with wide variation of needs including Autism (ASD), PMLD, SLD, Speech and Language, SEMH and more at an Outstanding graded secondary school in Newham, London

Job Responsibility:

Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L and more)
Liaising with Class Teachers and SENDCO regarding progress of children
Provide stimulating and safe learning environment for children
Delivering specialist interventions
Liaising with school's therapists

Requirements:

Psychology Graduate
Childcare-related experience with SEN focus - Ideal
Experience supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - Ideal
Must be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
Hardworking and driven individual
Future career ambitions to become Ed Psych, Clin Psych, Therapist, Well Being Practitioner

Nice to have:

Childcare-related experience with SEN focus
Experience supporting children with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L
