Job Description:

Aspiring Assistant Psychologist role for psychology graduates looking to gain hands-on experience prior to further studies or becoming an Assistant Psychologist. Working at an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school in Tower Hamlets with a community focus, supporting students with various SEN/additional needs.

Job Responsibility:

Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild-moderate)
Working within KS1 and KS2 supporting learning and day to day activities
Supporting children with SEN/Additional needs and tailoring approach based on each child's needs
Supporting the teacher throughout the day
Providing academic and emotional support for children

Requirements:

Psychology graduate
1st Class or 2:1 degree
Childcare related experience
Experience working with SEN students (Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, Physical Disabilities)
Ability to be patient, resilient and calm in difficult situations
Genuine passion for teaching or career within children
