Job Responsibility

Oversee day-to-day site operations for surfacing project
Develop work plans, assist in creating project programmes, and place orders for necessary materials
Plan works, assist in developing work programmes and place orders for materials
Communicating effectively daily with Crew / Foreman by carrying out daily briefings and through on-site presence
Supervise operations to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to contract specifications and minimising the need for remedial actions
Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or hazards
Complete daily reports and submit them at the end of each visit, including copies of dimensions, supply issues, and waiting times
Place accurate and timely orders for materials and equipment to ensure efficient production while balancing costs against client value and compliance with standards
Deliver on site works to managements programme, working within the constraints and specification of the contract

Proven leadership of multiple surfacing crews (typically 3–4), supervisors and ACMs - representing approx. 25–30 people in total
A track record of controlling programmes, teams and documentation in a high-volume environment
NEC3/NEC4 experience, with confidence in managing change control, variations and forecast vs actual cost reviews
Excellent communication, client engagement and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational capability and the ability to introduce consistent working practices
