Proven previous experience in a similar role within an asphalt, quarrying, or heavy materials processing environment
Driving licence

Job Responsibility

Line management of on-site Plant Supervisors, providing leadership, support, and clear direction
Full responsibility for budgets and P&L management, including cost control and financial performance
Month-end P&L reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Experience running projects, including planning, delivery, and performance monitoring
Involvement in capital expenditure applications, justification, and delivery of approved projects
Ensure all operations are run in line with HSEQ policies and guidance
Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance, promoting a positive safety culture
Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, performance reviews, and development discussions
Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to supervisory and operational teams
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met

Job Responsibility

Production scheduling and output optimisation in accordance with requirements of dispatch controller (Weighbridge)
Preventive maintenance & coordination of maintenance contractors
To assist with repairs during breakdowns and complete preventative maintenance
Stock management and coordination of material deliveries with supply chain and haulage contractors
To maintain high standard of quality for all materials produced
Maintain good standard of housekeeping around asphalt plant and loading areas
To perform any other reasonable duties as required
