Responsible for all planning and scheduling activities
Communicate job status daily to plant leadership
Develop tentative maintenance schedule one week in advance and communicate with maintenance personnel and plant leadership
Order necessary parts and materials appropriately so jobs can be completed as scheduled
Review maintenance schedule daily with all maintenance personnel and plant leadership
Job out maintenance tasks to maintenance team daily
You must review maintenance notifications daily and ensure notifications get converted to work orders and scheduled appropriately
Mange work order system in SAP
Responsible for ensuring spare parts get ordered and restored once issued out of store stock inventory
Follow up and hold mechanics accountable on daily work and ensure work gets done properly and safely
Communicate daily with plant leadership on any schedule changes made
Mentor and develop mechanics
Ensure the completion of all equipment care and maintenance equipment PMs to the intent of the preventative maintenance plan
Must be an active member of 7:00 a.m. meeting daily, providing solutions for maintenance and production
Adjust maintenance schedule accordingly and a plan to address plant issues identified from Daily Shift Report and 7:00 meeting
Be a positive spokesperson and help lead plant wide changes
Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and other technical data references
Expert use of hand and power tools
Work as instructed with outside contractors
Develop housekeeping plans for maintenance shops and maintenance areas and develop a system to ensure it gets done
Comply with good housekeeping practice on the job and ensure work areas are clean and picked up after each job completion
Comply with all plant rules
Forklift operation, licensed
Regular Attendance on site and ability to respond after hours or on weekends if processes upset occur that hinder production
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Basic PLC training
Preferably five (5) years in a related maintenance trade or occupation that involved electrical or hydraulic machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to demonstrate trouble-shooting techniques
Must have an advanced understanding of electrical and hydraulic circuitry
Must be able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Must be able to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision with drive toward accomplishment, and to produce high quality work
Must work safely and follow all documented and 'common sense' safety policies and procedures
