Job Description

Are you an experienced Asphalt labourer? There are a couple of opportunities for ongoing work across a mix of projects. You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch. As part of the team, you will be working on projects on various sites around Brisbane.

Job Responsibility

  • Use screen board/shovel an rakes to spread asphalt
  • Perform routine manhole and sheet patching repairs
  • Gravel and asphalt pavements
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Guide trucks and traffic while moving and tipping
  • Have a current truck license to be able to drive truck to different locations during each shift

Requirements

  • Current C Class license & own vehicle required
  • Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
  • MR/HR license required
  • Asphalt labouring experience required
  • Road and traffic awareness
