Job Description:

At Randstad, we Partner with Australia's leading Civil and Construction companies. Our projects include construction of major civil projects including roadworks, residential and rural subdivisions and Commercial construction. Due to increased projects, our clients are looking for experienced Civil Labourers to join their projects in the Sunshine coast. The current projects are due to last 18 months

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure trucks have all tools required for days work
  • General labour duties on Asphalt / Road projects
  • Use and maintenance of small plant including demo saw, jack hammer and Wacker packer
  • Clean debris and spoil from worksite
  • Offload truck and reorganise for following day
  • Operate plant machinery like Rollers, etc
  • General cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse, equipment and vehicles

Requirements:

  • Construction Card
  • Asphalt Experience (preferred)
  • Roller ticket
  • Bobcat ticket
  • Good attitude and Physically fit
  • Ability to undertake heavy manual handling / labouring duties
  • Ability to effectively and work with others, and follow instructions
  • Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
  • Machine operation experience and tickets
  • Able to pass drug and alcohol testing
  • Can provide references relating to recent, similar experience

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience working in civil construction environment (Preferred)
  • Traffic Management Ticket (preferred)
  • Flocon Operations experience (not essential, highly regarded)
