Senior Asphalt Plant Operator | Expert Batcher. $120,000 – $140,000 + Company Vehicle + Career Growth. The Opportunity: Are you a master of the mix? We are looking for a Senior Asphalt Batcher who brings technical precision and a 'get it done' attitude to our high-volume production facility. This isn't just a job behind a console; it is a critical leadership role ensuring our product meets the highest engineering standards in the industry. If you have the technical grit to manage complex mix designs and the foresight to keep a plant running at peak efficiency, we want to talk to you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Precision batching measuring and combining aggregates bitumen and additives with zero margin for error
  • Quality control proactively monitoring mix consistency and adjusting parameters to meet strict project specifications
  • Plant mastery operating troubleshooting and overseeing maintenance of batching and mixing equipment
  • Logistics and inventory managing raw material stockpiles and coordinating truck allocations
  • Safety leadership maintaining gold standard for WHSEQ on-site

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in asphalt batching or heavy construction material production
  • Deep understanding of asphalt plant mechanics, mix designs, and computerised batching systems
  • Valid manual Driver’s Licence
  • Proven track record of punctuality and ability to handle pressures of high-volume production
