Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to work in Ealing. Your role as the ASD Teaching Assistant will be to provide support to students with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and Mental Health Issues in an ‘Outstanding’ primary school. You will assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons adapted to suit individual needs, as well as providing one to one support for students who require it.

Job Responsibility:

Working 1:1 and in small groups with children who have ASD
supporting pastoral, SEMH, and academic needs
assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons adapted to suit individual needs

Requirements:

Hold a degree from a reputable university at a 1:1 or 2:1 level
have experience working with children and young people with additional needs
have a positive and patient approach towards students with additional needs
be adaptable, flexible and able to use your initiative
ideally have experience supporting students with autism or social, emotional and mental health needs
be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
