Job Description:

ASD Teaching Assistant role in an 'Outstanding' primary school in Hounslow, London, supporting children with special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, and Mental Health Issues.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and Mental Health Issues
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons adapted to suit individual needs
Provide one to one support for students who require it
Working 1:1 and in small groups with children who have ASD
Supporting pastoral, SEMH, and academic needs

Requirements:

Hold a degree from a reputable university at a 1:1 or 2:1 level
Have experience working with children and young people with additional needs
Have a positive and patient approach towards students with additional needs
Be adaptable, flexible and able to use your initiative
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Nice to have:

Ideally have experience supporting students with autism or social, emotional and mental health needs
