Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of those who need extra support in their education? We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated ASD Support Assistant to work in Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons adapted to suit individual needs, and provide one-to-one support for students requiring additional help in a holistic-focused school environment.

Job Responsibility:

Working 1:1 and in small groups with children who have ASD
Supporting pastoral, SEMH, and academic needs

Requirements:

Hold a degree from a reputable university at a 1:1 or 2:1 level
Have experience working with children and young people with additional needs
Have a positive and patient approach towards students with additional needs
Be adaptable, flexible and able to use your initiative
Ideally have experience supporting students with autism or social, emotional and mental health needs
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
