Job Description:

The Bartender provides resort guests and servers with the highest quality, quick and efficient beverage service at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, a luxurious mountain lodge in the heart of the American West.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide resort guests and servers with the highest quality, quick and efficient beverage service
  • Take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • Maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks
  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and Four Seasons Standards
  • Maintain and control a high level of guest service
  • Follow the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service
  • Have a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensure all details of service are performed properly
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • Check completed orders with the guest’s original order
  • Perform additional side duties
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks
  • Process cash and credit card payments
  • Properly settle voided checks or complimentary items

Requirements:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand continuously for up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • 1-2 years experience in a luxury resort
  • Fluent English
  • Strong commitment to service
  • Must possess legal work authorization in the United States
