Job Responsibility

Carry out duties as required under the direction of the Manager/Shift Leader
Be involved in meeting each service user’s individual needs on a daily basis, including transporting service users to appointments and other engagements by driving Company vehicles if the worker has a driving licence
Support service user’s individual priority needs, completing daily timetables as directed
Facilitate the involvement of service user’s in daily household tasks i.e. cleaning, personal laundry, shopping and preparing meals
Assist in providing basic care where people have a physical illness
Carry out personal care as part of the role depending on client needs
Report any client general issues/concerns to the Manager
Participate in any service user’s leisure pursuits at home and within the community
Act as Key-Worker (where appropriate) for identified service user(s) as designated by the Manager
Advocate on behalf of service users where appropriate
