Requirements

Minimum 5 Years’ Experience within a similar position (asbestos experience would be an asset but not required)
Strong leadership skills & the proven capability to drive a onsite team to success
Experience completing site paperwork professionally
Strong interpersonal skills & comfortability dealing with a variety of clientele including all levels government, bluechip clientele & residential customers
Valid Driver’s License, White Card

Job Responsibility

Proactively take control of day to day running of the allocated site and staff within that site or work area and be able to adhere and be fully aware of all legislative requirements
Ensure all elements of work is completed to a high standard and meets or surpasses relevant legislation requirements
All work is undertaken in accordance with the ARCP and Scope of Works
To have all RPE /PPE/ personal tools maintained in a clean, serviceable, and presentable manner
To ensure any mobile telephone, computer, laptop is only used for company always use and kept safe and secure
To wear company clothing
To be able to lead and guide and safely manage a removalist team on site, and to train staff including trainees where required
Ensure coordination with operations manager on all plant equipment, materials and any other resources
Ensure all health and safety obligations, company policies, procedures and compliance are meet
Ensure the project runs smoothly with all parties including but not limited the asbestos assessor and client

Requirements

Experience of working as a Demolition Supervisor
At least five years of experience within the demolition industry
Strong work ethic
Team player – able to work as part of a team and as an individual
Willing to travel and stay away from home, as and when required
CCDO Demolition Supervisor Card Gold Qualification – held for a minimum of two years
Demolition Awareness NVQ
SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
First Aid certificate (desirable)

Job Responsibility

Daily supervision of site activities and motivation of site operatives / labourers
Supervision and planning of workload for all the site teams
Working to risk assessments and method statements
Working to inspection and test plans
Implementing health and safety procedures, undertaking safety inspections, and ensuring demolition site safety
Complete all day-to-day site paperwork associated with the Supervisors role
Liaising with the Contracts Management on a daily basis
Carrying out daily / weekly reports, completion of toolbox talks, daily activity briefings, site diary and other relevant paperwork
Client liaison (as required)
