Job Description:

Join our awesome team as an Asbestos Removalist! You will have the option of an immediate start at our established environmental clean-up firm that prides ourselves on having a great company culture. With strong safety ethos & a friendly working environment, we strive to always put the client first.

Job Responsibility:

  • The role involves friable removals, other hazardous materials remediation and demolition works.
  • There is occasional work away (typically a few days) as well as weekend and school holidays work due to the nature of the industry.
  • Removal of Class A and Class B as per the ARCP, ACOP and all relevant legislation.
  • Responsible for personal health and safety and the health and safety of others on site.

Requirements:

  • Professional & friendly
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Has their driving licence and own vehicle
  • Police Check within 12 months
  • White card
  • Has experience in a similar role
  • Licenses/Tickets preferred including EWP, working at heights, skid steer loader, bobcat, etc.
  • Training can be given on site or Minimum Class A / B NZQA qualifications
  • Removal of Class A and Class B as per the ARCP, ACOP and all relevant legislation.
  • Responsible for personal health and safety and the health and safety of others on site
  • To have all RPE /PPE/ personal tools maintained in a clean, serviceable, and presentable manner.

  • Experience completing site paperwork professionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills & comfortability dealing with a variety of clientele including all levels government, bluechip clientele & residential customers
