Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AS400 platform and projects developments using Cobol/CLP
Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially DB2 for AS400
Knowledge of the MQ framework
Knowledge of the AS-400 scheduler
Problem-solving with the ability to handle technical issues
Ability to encourage communication and collaboration between team members
Ability to integrate in a local team as well as in a remote team
Attention to detail and very good analytical skills
Speak Italian and English (oral and written) fluently

Job Responsibility

Estimate, define, and develop features for both new software and existing solutions on the AS400 platform
Develop, test, and implement applications using Cobol and CLP languages on the AS/400 platform
Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure their performance, reliability, and security
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and improve development processes
Resolve technical issues and provide user support
Document processes, changes made to applications and technical solutions implemented
Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
