Job Description

Join a globally recognized leader in digital entertainment, a pioneering company at the forefront of shaping how millions experience content worldwide. This is an unparalleled opportunity to make a profound impact by ensuring the quality, accuracy, and scalability of critical content data that powers a vast array of features and user experiences. As a pivotal member of our team, you will drive operational excellence and innovation, directly influencing the future of content curation through cutting-edge technology and strategic leadership. We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our content curation operations, serving as the crucial bridge between operational realities and advanced technical solutions. You will be instrumental in enhancing the integrity of content profiles, bios, images, and event listings, ensuring a clean and trustworthy data foundation. This role places you at the intersection of operations, vendor management, and advanced technology, where you will translate complex operational challenges into clear technical requirements, evaluate innovative solutions, and decide what ships to production. Your work will directly empower our users and shape the future of how content is discovered and engaged with on a massive scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end content curation operations, covering content profiles, bios, images, disambiguation, and the expanding surface area of content-facing data, acting as the primary operational owner and escalation point for vendor teams
  • Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams (Data Science, Engineering, AI/ML), ensuring operational needs are clearly understood and technical tradeoffs are effectively communicated
  • Translate operational challenges, such as content disambiguation, image quality, and bio accuracy, into clear, actionable specifications for engineering and data science teams
  • Break down ambiguous problems into well-scoped, prioritized workstreams, sequenced by impact, focusing on high-leverage solutions and iterative development
  • Evaluate technical proposals and model outputs, participating in design reviews and developing evaluation frameworks (e.g., golden sets, quality metrics, error analysis, human-in-the-loop feedback) to assess the production readiness of AI/ML solutions
  • Design and iterate on manual review tooling that surfaces AI-generated inputs (confidence scores, candidate matches, suggested actions) to enhance reviewer throughput and accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to apply ML models, agentic workflows, and automation to pressing content curation problems, conducting lightweight ROI and impact analyses to differentiate between short-term tactical wins and long-term structural solutions
  • Communicate upward by building clear, compelling presentations and presenting progress, tradeoffs, and recommendations to leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, Product, Analytics, and peer Operations teams to surface interdependencies and align priorities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or technical product roles with significant exposure to AI/ML-driven workflows
  • Demonstrated experience translating operational or product problems into ML requirements and collaborating directly with data scientists and engineers through model development cycles
  • Experience evaluating model outputs, including designing evaluation sets, quality metrics, error analysis, and human feedback loops
  • Experience designing or specifying review/annotation tooling that integrates AI inputs for human reviewers
  • Conceptual understanding of core analytics principles (e.g., sampling, hypothesis testing, statistical measurement)
  • Proven ability to produce executive-ready written narratives and presentations
  • Track record of leading ambiguous initiatives end-to-end with minimal direction

Nice to have

  • Experience in the music industry or with music metadata, catalogs, rights data, or content-facing products
  • Familiarity with entity resolution / disambiguation problems (e.g., identities, works)
  • Exposure to LLM-based workflows, prompt evaluation, or agentic automation
  • Experience collaborating with international stakeholders or managing cross-cultural projects
  • Comfort querying data (SQL or similar) to investigate issues independently
  • Experience managing vendor or outsourced review teams
  • Familiarity with Tableau or comparable BI tooling
  • A genuine passion for music and curiosity about the systems that power the modern music industry

What we offer

  • subsidized health, vision, and dental plans
  • paid sick leave
  • retirement plans with a match
  • free online training through Aquent Gymnasium
