Job Description

We are seeking a skilled driver to join our team. Working with an existing team of test drivers. Test Performance of articulated trucks. Adhere to standard work practices. Adhere to H&S and PPE requirements. Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards. Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping. Report issues and defects to the line leader. Meet production targets daily.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous driving experience / HGV experience
  • Ability to read and interpret working instructions

  • Willingness to learn and follow company procedures

  • Driving of company executives and/or groups of employees in company-owned vehicles/shuttles
  • Basic maintenance and cleaning of company-owned vehicles/shuttles
  • Oversight of company fleet services, including cost evaluation and scheduling
  • Company-owned aircraft flight operations
  • All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops and are required to load packages onto hand trucks and unload product at each stop on the assigned route in the order they are designated by the Transportation Department Manager.
  • Operate successfully in a cross-dock model picking up a loaded truck from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock and returning the empty truck back to the assigned lot at the end of the route.
  • May be required to assist occasionally with loading-trucks, palletizing product, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
