Articulated Forklift Driver - Dundee. If you are an experienced forklift driver looking for a stable role with long‑term potential, we would love to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating articulated forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving stock across warehouse and production areas
  • Stacking and organising pallets within racking systems
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required
  • Following all site health & safety procedures
  • Completing daily equipment checks and reporting any issues

Requirements:

  • Valid, in‑date articulated forklift licence (Bendi/Flexi)
  • Previous experience operating an articulated truck in a warehouse or production environment
  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable with good communication skills

  • Dispatch outgoing mail and packages and prepare bulk mail reports
  • Order office supplies and equipment and verify invoices
  • Sort delivered packages, pallets, and mail according to destination and type such as returns, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments
  • Fold, package and/or post outgoing deliveries and mail by hand or machine and performs quality checks
  • Prepare packages and create shipment labels
  • Collect, receive and distribute mail and packages using an automated system to track and manage activity
  • Perform receipts, shipments, and inventory controls within digital tracking software including JLL, client, and logistics partner software systems
  • Optional: Pick up mail from post office and deliver it on a timely basis
  • Track, trace, and resolve mail problems with USPS and express carriers

Your time will be split between getting stuck in on a FLT and managing/coordinating yard activity, liaising with the transport and operational teams
  • Managing the workload of a dedicated yard FLT driver, yard cleaner, whilst also liaising with the operational team to divert resources at peak times
  • Ensuring stock is kept safe, tidy and weather protected in designated yard locations, in accordance with permits, Environment Agency regulations, Insurance Agreements and AO Policy
  • Ensuring adherence to all company policies and processes. Drive continuous improvement, emphasising safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and morale
  • Actively participate in Daily Shift briefings, using and completing end of shift reports, monitoring safety, whilst ensuring all KPI’s are met. Able to identify areas of improvement, or challenges which require support or project teams to overcome
  • Demonstrate best in practice loading and securing techniques with loading big bags on articulated trailers / shipping containers are always used, with load information (including photographic evidence) is recorded on AO’s systems, limiting risk of movement in transit
  • Complete in full all required legal transport documentation / paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, both nationwide and internationally
  • Ensure all shipments comply with customer specific requirements
  • Participate in 5S housekeeping, accident investigation, and safety audits and related activities
