Art Tutor Assistant

• Deliver engaging art sessions in a fun, club environment
• Support students’ artistic development through skill-based lessons and creative exploration
• Evaluate student progress
• Communicate with parents about student progress
• Prepare for classes by laying out materials, sharpening pencils, washing brushes, and cutting templates
• Maintain the studio environment
• Support studio operations with administrative tasks
• Follow health and safety and child safeguarding policies
• Provide ad hoc support at your normal studio and/or other clubs
• Lead holiday workshops, parties, and term-time classes

• Level 2 in Maths & English
• Level 2 in Art
• Passionate about art and education
• Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoys working collaboratively in a team
• Familiarity with computers for day-to-day admin tasks
• Reliable, organised, and eager to learn
• Practical artistic skills across a range of media and techniques
• Ability and willingness to learn art projects and behavioural techniques quickly

Level 3 in Art

• Nationally recognised qualification
• Full training in art-K’s teaching methods
