Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ school in Merton is looking for an Art Teacher to join their thriving department from January 2026. They offer TLR opportunities, mentorship, training, and an inspiring place to work. Teach Art subjects at GCSE and A Level alongside well-behaved and high-achieving students.

Job Responsibility:

Teach across KS3,4, and 5
Plan your lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance
Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons.

Requirements:

UK QTS – Essential
Strong understanding of teaching standards
Art related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university
If not a degree strong experience in a relevant field
Ambitious and driven personality
Great communication skills
Desire to progress.
