Are you a creative educator looking to inspire students in the heart of North Wales? We are looking for a talented Art Teacher to join a vibrant department in Corwen. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your artistic passion to a school that truly values the arts, starting immediately with the real prospect of a permanent contract.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver creative Art and Design lessons that inspire students of all abilities
  • Guide pupils through various techniques, including drawing, painting, and digital media
  • Maintain a safe and organised art studio environment for all students
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students develop their portfolios and techniques
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a calm and productive creative space
  • Prepare students for practical assessments and showcase their work within the school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A deep understanding of the English curriculum
  • Ability to connect with students and explain complex ideas simply
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check
