Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and passionate Art Teachers to join thriving secondary schools across Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified educators to inspire young minds and contribute to dynamic learning environments.

Job Responsibility:

Planning and delivering inspiring and effective Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, with the potential for A-Level teaching depending on qualifications and experience
Creating a stimulating studio environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation for art
Collaborating with a supportive team of art educators to share best practices and contribute to departmental initiatives
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and potentially leading art clubs or projects

Requirements:

A qualified Art Teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching in UK secondary schools
Significant experience is essential
A deep passion for art and a commitment to fostering students' artistic potential
A strong understanding of current art education best practices and curriculum requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach
A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
