Art Teacher

• Teach secondary age pupils
• Drive the new creative subject across the academy
• Organise the art classroom and all resources required to deliver the new subject
• Contribute to a small staffing team to ensure the site runs smoothly

• Experienced Art Teacher
• Willing to be flexible to meet the needs of pupils and academy
• Good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or other alternative setting
• Affinity for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
• Resilient with high expectations and a sense of humour
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and think outside the box
• Ability to contribute to a small staffing team
• Growth mindset and positive ethos

• Ability to teach engaging and adaptive lessons to challenging and disengaged SEND pupils
