Job Description:

An 'Outstanding' school in Bromley is looking for an Art Teacher to join their thriving department from January 2026. The school teaches various Art subjects such as Art & Design, Graphic Design, and Photography at GCSE and A Level. The school has creativity emanating out of it and is oversubscribed with talented students, making it an inspiring place to work.

Job Responsibility:

Teach across KS3,4, and 5
Plan lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance
Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons
Bring creative flair into the classroom and make Art accessible to all students
Help design the way the curriculum is delivered

Requirements:

UK QTS - Essential
Strong understanding of teaching standards
Art related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university
If not a degree strong experience in a relevant field
Ambitious and driven personality
Great communication skills
Desire to progress

Nice to have:

Specialism in Art & Design, Graphic Design, or Photography
Experience with KS3, KS4, and KS5 teaching
