Art Teacher – Full-time, temporary role for half a term from February 2026. Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging Art lessons across relevant year groups
Prepare and supervise practical activities while maintaining high standards of safety
Encourage creativity, experimentation, and confidence in artistic expression
Assess and monitor pupil progress, offering constructive feedback
Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes participation and well-being
Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and share best practice
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Art
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the creative arts
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive approach to supporting pupil progress and engagement
