We’re seeking a talented and proactive Art Director to bring fresh creativity and strategic design leadership to our digital projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on creative who can balance design excellence with client collaboration and business impact. This will be remote, 10-15 hours per week. The Art Director will lead the visual direction for a range of digital assets—from brand identity and style guides to landing pages and custom web designs. The position requires both strategic vision and a willingness to get into the details of design execution.
Job Responsibility:
Conceptualize and direct creative solutions across branding, digital design, and web projects
Collaborate closely with the account person, developers, and up to three client teams at a time
Ensure creative output aligns with client objectives and maintains a consistent visual identity
Develop style guides, branding systems, and digital design assets that elevate client presence
Use digital design tools to execute layouts, mockups, and visual concepts
Contribute creative ideas that help drive new business and project opportunities
Take initiative in shaping the design process—proactively identify opportunities rather than waiting for direction
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Art Director, ideally within a digital or agency environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital design and branding work
Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Canva, Constant Contact, and/or Mailchimp
Familiarity with WordPress and Drupal (preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both clients and internal teams
A self-starter mindset—comfortable operating independently and contributing ideas that drive results
Nice to have:
Expereince working in healthcare, nonprofit or education is a plus
