We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creatively driven Art Director to ideate and design our various design projects and to lead creative design projects from concept to execution. This role sits within Aquent Studios internal client team, where we combine high-level creativity, craftsmanship, strategic thinking, and business insight to bring compelling ideas to life. This role calls for someone with an exceptional eye for design, strong project coordination skills, and a passion for pixel-perfect execution. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining visual consistency, creative quality, and operational efficiency across all marketing design initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Creative Brief Development: Partner with stakeholders to write and refine briefs that clearly articulate objectives, deliverables, and timelines
Brand Stewardship: Ensure design consistency and brand integrity across all touchpoints, keeping a close eye on layout, typography, color, and tone
Design Execution: Hands on design for a high volume of creative deliverables across various formats (digital, print, social, etc.)
Creative Project Management: Lead the end-to-end coordination of design projects across marketing and brand—from intake and briefing through production and delivery
Agency & Vendor Oversight: Serve as the main point of contact for external creative partners. Manage timelines, provide clear direction and feedback, and ensure final assets meet brand and quality expectations
Quality Control: Review creative deliverables to ensure accuracy, alignment with brand guidelines, and visual excellence across all channels
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, product, and digital teams to understand project goals and translate them into strong visual outputs
Workflow Optimization: Support the refinement of creative workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and scale output without compromising quality
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a design lead or related role within an in-house marketing or agency team
A compelling portfolio of original work that’s both conceptual and results-driven
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative vision and feedback
Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to push creative boundaries
Expert knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Proficiency in Keynote, and Google Slides for presentation design
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field
Deep understanding of design principles, brand systems, and creative workflow
Proven experience managing a high volume of creative deliverables across various formats (digital, print, social, etc.)
Pixel-perfect design sensibility and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all creative
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment
