Our client, a healthcare company, is looking for a Senior Art Director/Designer to lead creative for retention marketing initiatives from concepting to craft.
Job Responsibility:
Lead creative development for lifecycle/CRM marketing, with a focus on email campaigns and direct mail (and occasional landing pages / in-product touchpoints as needed)
Translate strategy into strong concepts and brand-forward design systems that scale across recurring programs
Partner closely with a copywriter to develop campaign ideas, messaging angles, and content structure—bringing visual + verbal thinking together from early ideation through final execution
Own work end-to-end: concept, design, iteration, production readiness, QA, and delivery
Maintain and evolve design standards, templates, and workflows to improve quality, speed, and consistency
Present work with clear rationale and influence partners through strong communication
Use AI-assisted workflows to speed ideation, exploration, and production appropriately
Requirements:
7+ years (or equivalent) in art direction/design for digital marketing, lifecycle/CRM, or performance marketing
Strong portfolio showcasing email marketing and digital campaign design (direct mail is a plus)
Excellent digital design fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, and brand storytelling
Working knowledge of UI/UX principles (clarity, accessibility, conversion-focused design, responsive layouts)
Strong presentation and communication skills—able to explain creative decisions to non-designers
Experience building and maintaining design systems, templates, and repeatable frameworks
Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Adobe CC)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with high attention to detail
Comfortable using AI tools to support the creative process (rapid ideation, moodboarding, copy exploration support, visual exploration, and production acceleration)
