Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Art Director to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut, on a contract basis. In this role, you will bring creative vision and leadership to a wide range of marketing and branding initiatives, ensuring the development of compelling visual designs that align with strategic goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in graphic design and art direction to create impactful campaigns.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the creation and execution of visually engaging marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, and social media content
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop branding strategies that enhance brand awareness and consistency
Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash, to deliver high-quality designs
Oversee the artistic direction of projects, ensuring alignment with client and organizational objectives
Conceptualize and design innovative graphics that effectively communicate the intended message
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
Provide guidance and feedback to less experienced designers and team members to maintain creative excellence
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design approaches
Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive look across platforms

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar creative leadership role
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash
Strong understanding of graphic design principles and branding strategies
Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling materials across various formats
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of current trends in marketing, advertising, and social media design
A portfolio showcasing creative work and successful projects
