Our client, a well-known NYC based financial news company is looking for an idea-first, hands-on Art Director with strong, visible campaign work in their portfolio. This role is about creating and executing integrated brand and marketing campaigns—not isolated assets. You should be equally comfortable developing big ideas and designing the work that brings them to life. You’ll help shape a global brand through campaign-driven storytelling across digital, motion, print, web, and social. This is a maker role: concept, design, refine, deliver.
Job Responsibility:
Concept and art-direct integrated brand and marketing campaigns
Own campaigns end-to-end, from idea through execution
Partner closely with copywriters, strategists, and producers to build clear, compelling campaign narratives
Expand existing brand systems through campaign frameworks across channels
Design and oversee campaign assets across digital, motion, web, social, and print
Present and defend work with confidence to senior stakeholders
Requirements:
A portfolio that clearly demonstrates campaign work (concept, system, execution)
7–10+ years of experience in agencies and/or in-house brand teams, with a campaign focus
Strong design, typography, and visual storytelling skills
Experience translating complex B2B ideas into clear, engaging campaigns
Comfort pitching work and collaborating with senior partners
Hands-on expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
familiarity with motion workflows
Nice to have:
Experience in finance, fintech, media, or complex product spaces
Exposure to motion, environmental, or experiential campaigns
