Art Director role focuses on conceptualizing, designing, and executing visuals that align with Adyen’s brand guidelines, value proposition, and internal communications strategy to elevate the overall internal brand experience. The role involves taking complex ideas and simplifying them into beautiful, understandable visuals, responding to diverse briefs, and translating project requirements into intuitive, impactful designs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the internal creative lead for large-scale campaigns (e.g., Investor Day, Connect)
  • Manage external agency and vendor relationships
  • Lead the end-to-end design and production of high-stakes presentations
  • Develop brand-based illustrations from concept and sketches to finished product
  • Manage the creative collaboration with production houses to deliver print assets
  • Design holistic, immersive experiences for an audience
  • Apply brand strategy and design principles to drive internal engagement
  • Strategically elevate the internal brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms
  • Act as a subject matter expert in internal communications design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into creative solutions
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently from inception to final delivery

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience working as an Art Director or Brand Designer (in-house, freelance, or agency)
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC, Keynote, Google slides, and Figma
  • Portfolio showcasing expertise in art direction and brand engagement
  • Full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in other forms of design
  • Portfolio includes a diverse range of work across different media types
