Job Description:

In the Borough of Newham an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School seeks an Art & Design Teacher starting in September 2025 for a permanent, full-time position. Experienced Art Teachers have opportunities for taking on TLR roles, while newly qualified teachers receive bespoke induction and training.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Art Teachers
TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
You must be able to work as part of a large team of Art Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback
