We are looking for an Armis Security Specialist to strengthen security across laboratory and OT/IoT environments within a pharma setting. This role focuses on optimizing Armis capabilities, improving asset visibility, and implementing practical security controls that protect systems without disrupting scientific workflows.
Job Responsibility
Operate and optimize the Armis platform (configuration, tuning, policies, alerts)
Maintain accurate inventory of lab and OT/IoT devices and monitor risk exposure
Identify vulnerabilities and support risk mitigation and remediation plans
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
Configure and manage monitoring, detection, and alerting mechanisms
Investigate alerts and support incident response activities
Collaborate with R&D, lab teams, IT, and security stakeholders
Provide reporting on asset visibility, risks, and security posture
Support training and awareness on secure usage of lab systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience with Armis or similar OT/IoT security platforms
2- 4+ years in cybersecurity, network security, or OT/IoT environments
Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, NAC)
Experience with asset discovery, risk analysis, and anomaly detection
Ability to create and maintain security procedures and documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments
Knowledge of GxP and regulated environments
Familiarity with SIEM, vulnerability management, NAC, or CMDB tools
Relevant certifications (e.g. Security+, CISSP, GICSP, or similar).
