The Area Vice President is responsible for achieving the booking targets across the US. They lead a team of Regional Vice Presidents and will work with other members of the sales leadership team to ensure the overall quota is met. Job Responsibility:
Lead a team of up to 4 Regional Vice Presidents or Account Executives and their teams
Accountable for the total business results of all subordinates
Participates in defining territories, assigning quotas, and determining target accounts
Mentors and coaches team members and assists their sales cycles
Achieving the booking targets across the US
Work with other members of the sales leadership team to ensure the overall quota is met
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
10+ years direct sales experience
7+ years in enterprise software sales as a sales team leader
Experience selling in the SLED space, specifically focused in the State and Local space
Working knowledge of business process automation with a history of qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi departmental solution sales
Working knowledge of solution selling methodology and practice
Must be within Greater DC area
