Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to lead and coordinate the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of pipeline assets connected to the Stony Point Compressor Station. In this frontline leadership role, you will oversee daily operations and maintenance activities, guide a team of field technicians, and ensure adherence to all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, Gas Control, and project groups to support operational reliability while fostering a strong culture of safety and inclusion.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide positive leadership and coaching to field staff, promoting a strong safety and performance-driven culture
  • Oversee daily operational and maintenance activities across pipeline and compressor station assets
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental standards and compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Collaborate with Area Managers, other Supervisors, and cross-functional technical teams to support smooth operational workflows
  • Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and on-call support for operational issues
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor contractor performance to meet operational targets
  • Review and support new project designs, operational readiness, and business development activities
  • Ensure proper workforce scheduling and area coverage
  • Support employee growth through mentoring, feedback, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience OR 9+ years of field operations experience with an equivalent mix of education and experience
  • Candidates without a degree require an additional 3 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations and organizational processes
  • Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring and developing team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project)
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Must live within 30 miles of the facility
