The primary purpose of this role is to attend sites to prepare comprehensive and accurate specifications and quotes for installation projects, ensuring all details are communicated to relevant stakeholders. The role involves providing support and guidance to engineers during projects and conducting quality inspections upon completion to ensure compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare detailed and accurate specifications for installations following site visits
Order all necessary parts and subcontracted services for confirmed installations
Relay installation details to all relevant parties, providing both on-site and off-site support and guidance to engineers
Manage the day-to-day operations of operatives, providing technical support, encouragement, and training
Serve as a key contact for clients, assisting in developing relationships and resolving problematic jobs
Promote the importance of quality work and professional attitudes
Address recalls after an engineer has attended a property more than twice
Ensure client contractual and specific requirements are met and, where possible, exceeded
Convey company procedures and client requirements to operatives
Assist the Head of Region and Install Manager with training requirements and technical support
Work closely with the SHEQ team to champion the Aaron Services Group Competency Scheme
Conduct quality checks and health and safety audits
Cover the roles of Install Manager and other install supervisors as needed
Assist in investigations related to disciplinary and grievance situations
Maintain personal and professional development
Ensure relevant staff receive all technical information
Adhere to all health and safety requirements and legislation
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety Policy
Perform other duties, training, and work hours as reasonably required
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent
ACS accreditations, including CCN1 and CENWAT or equivalent, are preferable
Demonstrable practical experience in heating system surveys or domestic installation projects
Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
Proven ability to deliver accurate and detailed survey reports
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Full UK driving license is essential
