Job Description:

Area Sales Manager to be responsible for development of Contract & Distribution sales in the region through specification of the Gerflor portfolio of products. Responsible for the timely delivery of Contract products to the targeted market sectors.

Job Responsibility:

Proactively identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities for new build and refurbishment projects in your region
Promote and achieve specification / brand awareness of Gerflor and Gradus Commercial products by visiting: Architects & Designers, Principal Contractors, Flooring contractors, Local Authorities, Local Builders, Quantity Surveyors, and End Users
Regularly organise and present CPD seminars with specifiers
Participate actively in trade shows where Gerflor exhibits as well as in road shows organised in conjunction with distributors
Provide market intelligence concerning Competition, Distribution, Product trends, Standards, etc
Work closely with the Regional Team as well as the Key Account Managers assigned to the region
Attend customer trips to factories when needed
Inspect, when necessary, complaints on behalf of the company

Requirements:

Successful specification sales experience
Proven track record in driving sales growth, with a highly sales-driven and technical mindset
Solid experience in a new business development or a senior sales capacity ideally in a similar sector
Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude
Flexible, dynamic, and highly organised method of working
Confident communicator – Presenting, verbal and written
Passion for providing excellent customer service
IT literate in all Microsoft programs
