Job Description:

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue across our portfolio of properties. You will lead a team of sales professionals, build strong relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities to enhance our market presence. This role will be responsible for overseeing three (3) Marriott Hotel properties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the assigned area
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key clients, including hotels, restaurants, and event planners
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape, adjusting strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create promotional campaigns and packages
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, providing insights on performance and areas for improvement
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
