For the IMA ILAPACK Germany division we are looking for an AREA SALES MANAGER. IMA ILAPACK produces wide range of flexible packaging solutions, has satisfied every form, fill and seal packaging requirement of the food, pharma, medical devices and wet wipes industries.
Job Responsibility:
Plans sales actions in order to expand the portfolio and/or retain existing customers
Carries out sales visits
Proposes catalogue solutions to the customer
Interprets the customer's requirements and identifies alternative sales proposals within technical constraints
Addresses the economic issue and during the commercial negotiation
At the customer's request, and supported by technical colleagues, brings forward customised solutions which will then be articulated in a commercial offer
Relates with the customer not only from a commercial point of view, but also from a personal point of view, which also takes place through courtesy visits not aimed at sales
Coordinates and manages the activities of resellers and agents located in the relevant territory
Requirements:
Degree in engineering or technical studies
At least 5 years' experience in the job
Experience in an industrial B2B sector on customised products
Native German speaker
Fluent English
Availability for frequent national (50%) and occasional international travel
Nice to have:
Preferable background in the automatic machinery sector
knowledge of vision and counting systems for feeding flowpack systems
Previous experience in sales of turn key solutions
knowledge of commercial contracts
