Job Responsibility:
Strategic Growth & Revenue Leadership: Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to expand the customer base, hit revenue targets, and strengthen the company’s market presence
Team Mentorship & Performance: Lead and coach a high-performing sales team, focusing on enhancing their technical product knowledge and professional selling skills to maximize productivity
Channel & Distributor Management: Manage key distribution channels and build lasting partnerships with customers to understand their needs and ensure seamless service delivery
Market Intelligence & Expansion: Identify emerging market shifts and competitor activity to proactively adjust strategies and capture new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Cross-Functional Collaboration & ROI: Partner with the Marketing Department to implement cohesive strategies while managing sales expenses (CMEs, sponsorships, and booths) to ensure a strong return on investment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field (a strong Science background is a significant advantage)
Minimum 5–8 years of success in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role
Expert in territory and pipeline management, with a knack for coaching, mentoring, and solving complex problems to drive team performance
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus), with a willingness to travel within assigned territories
