We are looking for our future Area Sales Manager who will be in charge of monitoring our direct customers in a defined geographical area in Europe. The position can be located in France (our team in France is based in Alsace in Obernai) or in Germany (our team in Germany is based in Saarland in Blieskastel). You will join our dedicated team and actively contribute to optimizing the impact of our actions to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the portfolio of Trade Partners customers (importers or distributors) who market our brands
Manage the product portfolio of each of your markets and optimize its profitability
Define and co-construct action plans, negotiate contracts and pricing strategies
Contribute to the deployment of marketing and communication actions as part of annual action plans
Respond to or anticipate customer technical requests by calling on internal expertise teams
Report customer needs to the Product Management teams in charge of product development
Coordinate all initiatives related to the needs of Trade Partners within all departments
Achieve objectives in terms of turnover and margin for target customers
Requirements:
Graduate of technical training in electrical engineering/electricity or equivalent or significant experience in the field
Ideally complemented by training or experience in commerce/marketing/business development
Solid experience within a BtoB commercial environment focused on the deployment of a strategy and/or the monitoring of commercial performance would be a plus
Leadership, adaptability, curiosity and project management skills in a cross-functional and international environment
Analytical skills to effectively manage and interpret data to identify pain points and opportunities, evaluate solutions and provide clear recommendations to develop sales
Fluent level of English (oral and written)
French or German as a second language would be a plus
Likes working in a team
Enthusiasm and ability to collaborate
Willingness for frequent travel within Europe
