Area Sales Manager role managing a team covering the Luton and Tottenham area for Bestway Group's Grocer Award Winning Bestway Vans Direct team, supporting future growth and achievement of sales, margin and commercial objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Effectively manage all people and operational aspects of the team
Direct, train and motivate team of Customer Sales Representatives in achievement of sales, business development, customer satisfaction objectives
Ensure growth area continues to regularly over perform
Ensure that by working alongside and providing strategic direction to Customer Sales Representatives, all sales and customer targets are achieved
Effectively lead, up skill and develop Customer Sales Representative team to ensure individual performance related targets are exceeded
Ensure that processes which will effectively measure individual capability against targets are implemented and managed accordingly
Work collaboratively with team plus the Support Centre to ensure open and encouraging forms of communication
Requirements:
Experience gained in the convenience/retail /van sales arena
Solid understanding of how retail works
Experience to expertly handle growth plans
Comfortable in challenging effectively when appropriate
Confident in driving achievement through measurement of set and agreed targets
Skilful time management
Excellent communication skills
