As part of the global Sulzer Group, Sulzer GT Aero is a recognised specialist in gas turbine inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), supporting both aero‑derivative and industrial gas turbines. We work in close partnership with operators across Energy, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Nuclear, and emerging High‑Impact Technology (HIT) sectors, helping customers enhance the reliability, performance and lifecycle value of their most critical rotating equipment. To enable our strategic growth plans, we are creating a new Area Sales Manager position with responsibility for the UK and Iberian markets. This role has been established to strengthen market coverage, bring fresh commercial momentum, and unlock new revenue opportunities across both mature and developing sectors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute market‑specific sales strategies across the UK and Iberia
  • Drive new business growth within the HIT segment, identifying opportunities for service differentiation and long‑term value creation
  • Manage and grow key accounts across Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Power Generation
  • Lead customer engagement from early opportunity identification through to contract award
  • Work closely with engineering, operations and global sales teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
  • Act as Sulzer GT Aero’s commercial ambassador, strengthening our reputation and presence across the region

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development within gas turbines, rotating equipment or high‑value engineered services
  • A strong understanding of aero‑derivative gas turbines and service‑based commercial models
  • Experience working across UK industrial markets
  • The ability to build trust with senior customer stakeholders in complex and highly regulated environments
  • A profile that is commercially sharp, technically credible, and motivated by growth

Nice to have:

Exposure to Iberia is highly desirable
