Reporting to the Director, Sales, Europe, the Area Sales Manager – Oral Health plays a key role in expanding Carbon’s footprint across dental laboratories. The position combines strategic account development with a consultative, customer-first sales approach. This is a fast-moving, performance-driven environment where success comes from building meaningful partnerships and helping labs grow through digital transformation. Operating within Carbon’s subscription model, you’ll guide labs through the economic and operational transformation that comes with adopting new technology. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, requires deep market understanding, and involves regular travel across the region, up to 75%.

Job Responsibility:

  • Expand Carbon’s presence: Identify and engage new laboratories that can benefit from Carbon’s technology, creating structured growth plans per market segment
  • Build strategic partnerships: Develop long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders, including labs, distributors, and opinion leaders
  • Guide digital transformation: Support labs in transitioning from conventional manufacturing to digital workflows through business case development and ROI analysis
  • Accelerate market adoption: Represent Carbon at regional events, demonstrations, and customer workshops to raise awareness and strengthen the brand
  • Enable customer success: Collaborate cross-functionally with Application Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation and measurable value for customers
  • Gather market intelligence: Track industry trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to inform Carbon’s go-to-market and growth strategies
  • Champion continuous improvement: Provide structured feedback from the field to enhance Carbon’s value proposition and customer experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, key account management, or solution selling within dental, med-tech, or digital manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of dental lab workflows, technologies, and economic drivers
  • Proven ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders in complex decision processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Independent, entrepreneurial, and highly organized with a focus on execution and results
  • Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%
  • Fluency in German and English
  • additional European languages are an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional background preferred
