We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive the growth of our biological product portfolio through strategic field-based leadership. In this role, you will be the primary engine for regional market penetration, expanding our retail and dealer networks while building high-trust relationships directly with growers. You will act as a technical and commercial advisor, delivering specialized training and demonstrating how our innovative technologies enhance crop performance and sustainability. Job Responsibility:
Business Development: Prospect, recruit, and onboard new retail and dealer partners to expand regional sales
Sales Strategy: Create and execute annual sales forecasts, territory plans, and budget management for the area
Relationship Management: Manage the full sales cycle, providing ongoing support to retailers, dealers, and key growers
Product Expertise: Deliver comprehensive training and technical education on YMS biological products
Marketing Support: Represent at local trade shows, field days, and product showcase events
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and report sales data/market intelligence to leadership
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in agriculture or agricultural retail required
Knowledge of agronomy, seed, or biological products
Strong relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills
Ability to travel extensively and lift up to 50 lbs
