We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to serve as the primary field-based driver for our innovative biological product portfolio. In this role, you aren’t just selling a product; you are a strategic partner to the agricultural community, focused on enhancing crop performance through cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for increasing market penetration within your specific region by identifying and expanding high-impact retail and dealer partnerships. As the face of our brand in the field, you will bridge the gap between complex biological science and practical on-farm application. You will lead the way in offering expert training to partners and managing direct relationships with growers to ensure our solutions deliver measurable results. Job Responsibility

  • Business Development: Prospect, recruit, and onboard new retail and dealer partners to expand regional sales
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute annual sales forecasts, territory plans, and budget management for the area
  • Relationship Management: Manage the full sales cycle, providing ongoing support to retailers, dealers, and key growers
  • Product Expertise: Deliver comprehensive training and technical education on YMS biological products
  • Marketing Support: Represent YMS at local trade shows, field days, and product showcase events
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and report sales data/market intelligence to leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in agriculture or agricultural retail required

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to travel extensively and lift up to 50 lbs.
