As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing multiple stores, ensuring operational excellence, driving performance and maintaining brand standards. You’ll lead and develop store teams, manage resources effectively and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be expected to role model the behaviours and standards expected across the business.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and support multiple store teams to deliver excellent service and operational standards
Motivate teams to delight customers and consistently meet high standards
Build high-performance teams through regular coaching, training and skill development
Manage performance, absence, and conduct across your area
Deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, service and compliance
Ensure stores meet cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety standards
Drive succession planning and people development across your teams
Manage change initiatives and support business growth
Adhere to company policies, including managing performance when required
Requirements:
Experience in a multi-site managerial role
Proven track record in developing leadership teams and succession planning
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to role model expected behaviours
Experience in managing business operations including financials, stock control, and compliance
Able to work at pace and adapt to changing demands
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
