Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a well-established care provider who operate a portfolio of residential care homes for older adults. They are currently seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee six care homes across Greater Manchester and Staffordshire.
Job Responsibility:
Providing operational leadership and strategic oversight across the portfolio
Supporting Home Managers to maintain strong standards of care, compliance and occupancy
Taking a proactive approach to analysing performance trends across the homes, identifying opportunities for improvement and reporting insights back to senior leadership
Working closely with the Home Managers to drive forward initiatives collaboratively
Ensuring services continue to deliver high-quality care while planning ahead for future challenges and opportunities
Requirements:
Previous experience of line managing a team of Registered Home Manager’s
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
Travel across Greater Manchester and Staffordshire
Background within residential and dementia care homes
Experienced multi-site leader within the elderly care sector
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, quality improvement and operational performance
Collaborative leadership style
Ability to review service performance metrics, analysing trends and implementing practical solutions
Nice to have:
Ideally with a background as a Registered Manager before progressing into regional or area management
