The Site Lead will provide strategic and operational leadership across the North West delivery site. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent excellence in education, coaching, compliance and learner experience, while acting as the primary liaison between the Academy, funding providers, education partners, parents/carers and key external stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive performance standards across all sites, support and develop staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to student recruitment and long-term growth of the Academy. This is a leadership role requiring strong educational oversight, football programme management and stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibility
Lead and quality assure education and football provision across Academy sites
Line manage and develop teaching and coaching staff
Monitor teaching, learning, coaching and learner progress
Ensure high standards of safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and compliance
Oversee curriculum delivery, football administration and player development pathways
Build and maintain strong relationships with funding providers, education partners, universities and external stakeholders
Lead quality reviews, audits and learner reporting
Ensure compliance with funding requirements and Academy systems
Support learner and player recruitment across Academy sites
Coordinate staffing cover and support operational delivery where required
Requirements
Strong leadership experience within education and or football
Experience managing multiple sites or departments
Proven experience leading and developing staff teams
Experience working with funding providers, education partners or regulatory bodies
Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and learner progression
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Minimum UEFA B Licence
Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
